I would say it's right place for staying and exploring Newcastle upon Tyne. Make sure to get standard twin room with the bathroom, a comfortable bed early, for instance. The location is magnificent, near a bus station. The hotel has a good restaurant for dinner, good value.

Our stay was very nice, really enjoyed hot breakfasts.
We had coffee, pastries, and cereal in the morning. The room was lovely sized and complete with a good view, very comfortable beds, the bathroom. Particularly good and unbeatable location near a bus stop, that was handy. And near pubs and a casino, it was a bonus.

Plenty of options for breakfast, excellent coffee, pastries, and cereal. Normal double and lovely sized units with a bath rather than a space saving shower, large beds plus hairdryer, and outstandingly accommodating staff. Unbeatable and fab location - near a bus station.
